I wanted a high capacity SD card to record videos abroad, the card was a well known high quality brand, and the price was good, so, I bought it.



I did have problems with the seller though. I emailed a couple of times, when it didn't arrive when promised, it's only when I threatned to cancel the order and demand my money back, that it finally arrived, not a pleasent experience.



As it happens, the company was local to me, only 20 miles away, so, there was no excuse for it taking over 2 weeks to arrive.



The card is high quality, the price was good, but, please compare others too for the same product ..........

This innocent looking card is actually incredibly fast! It can sustain continuous full HD (1920x1080, 25p) video recording on a Canon EOS 550D, whereas another card I tried (the 'Samsung 16GB SDHC plus') failed immediately, causing the 550D to stop recording. The Verbatim might arrive in a bland looking cardboard blister pack without any extras, but it is an absolute gem and does exactly what its name suggests. I have just bought another for my wife's Panasonic TZ8 compact.

This card, gave me problems just a week after i bought it, and 1 month after its completely death :(

Many professional reviewers say that the bigger an sd card is, worst the reliability, and seem like its true (at least in my case).

From now on i will get no more than 16 Gb cards.

Very good and reasonably cheap media - I got these SD HC's for my Dad's photography camera; he can take tons of pictures and video without having to worry about space. Good speed on shipping and delivery also!



WARNING:

This wont apply to 99% of you I'm sure - But for that 1% (maybe even less) these cards do NOT work with the e-Films e-LCR made for the Sony EX 1 / EX 3.

The card arrived faulty and would not work in a SDHC socket that had worked with other 32GB cards. On returning the card to Amazon using their returns service, the refund was very prompt. Amazon does a great job even when things go wrong. Well done guys. Will be back.
