At first the microscope was a bit tricky to set up. The focus just needs a little patience, but once set you can view anything. The slides are helpful, with specimens already on. I liked bugs and blood, but I wouldn't recommend killing or stabbing anything for that purpose!!

I really liked it for my 9th brthday
