Tried to find a "Cheapo" lens for my Panasonic FZ38 but none available so had to buy the genuine article. Tried it on the camaera with a non-panasonic adaptor tube and it all worked fine; yet to get used to camera and into really close-up work but confident that this combination will do the job.

On the other hand purchased a "Cheapo" telephoto lens and that was a real failure, centre spot was Ok but everything around the edge completely blurred. Fotunately purchased from UK supplier so got full refund not sure that would have been the case if the unit came direct from HK. Looks like I will have to save up for the real Panasonic (or Olympus) telephoto lens at mega-bucks expense.
