The duologic does all it says on the box. It is a good quality sound from a portable machine. It can be carried into the garden and it works off batteries. It has a charging device which brings the batteries back up to full charge very quickly.

This radio is perfect for my needs, in other words as a radio for use in the kitchen. The radio gives good clear reception and worked straight from the box. The only fault I can find is that the characters of the 'scrolling' display appear to be fragmented as they traverse the screen, however I have seen other samples of the radio in shops, and these do the same. The 'scrolling' display is an option I can live without.

Great Truley Green Portable FM/DABS stereo radio.
Good facilities and reception.
In-Built Battery Charging is a bit of a fiddle with a little switch located behind the D Cell batteries. Chrging systems looks as though it was after thought and should have used an auto-sense on-line charging system.

I've been using this radio for just over a week now, i am pretty pleased with it. I 'ummed and ahhed' for months and months about a DAB radio and which one, i very nearly went for the PURE chronos but read too mny iffy reviews, by chance when i decided to take the plunge Roberts had recently released this (i had considered Roberts in the past but nothing really fitted the bill as a kitchen radio with line-in capability).
Positive Remarks:
+ Well packaged
+ solid feel to it
+ convenient grab slot at rear for picking up device in one hand
+ reception is very good (in my area anyway), no need to put the telescopic aerial up
+ buttons are tactile, and have a grippy surface to them
+ easy to set up and tune
+ sound is good, reasonable bass for a small twin speaker unit
+ can run off batteries (not that i've tried and probably won't)
+ the clincher of having line-in so i can play music from my mp3 player through it
Areas for improvement (none which are significant in my view)
- no option to change display brightness, so sometimes the display is hard to read (eg if you are viewing from the wrong angle)
- scrolling text is hard to read
- only one favourite station can be set for DAB, one for FM
- cannot change bass or treble settings
I may stand corrected on my '-' items as i've not been through the manual fully yet (not that there is much to it). One other thing that could be improved on is price i suppose, but hey.
Overall i am pretty pleased as i had not read any other owner reviews before purchasing. It looks pretty cool in white too...
I would give 4.5 out of 5 if i could.

Very good radio reception, excellent sound quality.
Controls easy and intuitive to use. Pricey but worth it.
