While I agree with all the good points mentioned by reviewers of the Clarus Plus Magibox, I got mine solely to get hold of BBC Radio 4 - I live in Cape Town, South Africa. Can anyone help? I try the Internet setting and constantly get "network error" for this channel and indeed BBC Radios 1,2 and 3. Are these channels only available on FM and not from South Africa?

Well, what else can I say to add to all the other favourable reviews? Only this...I am new to Internet Radio and I feared there would be a few hiccups/problems finding my wireless network. No problems whatsoever IF you read the excellent user manual and have a small amount of PC knowledge. however, once set up ANYONE could use the Radio.I managed to get one through a newspaper 'reader offer'and so saved a few quid.Thank you very much! The radio looks nice enough(shiney black)and has all the basic switches/buttons that needed for your listening pleasure ,as they say. 1.5wpc, great for the Kitchen or Bedroom maybe.Anyway,I'm not getting paid for this so I won't rabbit on any more.

This product is amazing. Easy to use, lots of choice of stations, you can make your own favourite lists / categories of stations (easy to do this on PC / LAPTOP. This then appears on your radios display) add stations etc. etc. Sound quality and speaker output is superb. Some of my friends were so impressed with the product they are going to buy this product aptly named `magicbox`. Highly recommended. Magicbox Clarus Plus Black

I have had this radio for about a month and am very impressed. I have mainly used it for the Internet Radio and Music Streaming features but the DAB and FM also seem to work fine.
Setup.
The device was very easy to set up and the only minor problem I had was in entering my WEP Key as I did not realise that both upper and lower case were supported. Setting up my Windows Media Player and also Favourite Stations (on the Frontier Silicone website) was very simple. Being able to have multiple lists of favourite stations via the website is a nice touch and, again, very simple to set up. It was also reassuring to see that software updates for the device were accessed simply via the menu.
Using It
The menu system on the radio is well thought out making choosing stations not on your list also quite simple.
At first I could not find BBC Listen Again but since I recently saw that this is available under Podcasts, that limitation looks to have gone away. Occasionally the connection to my WiFi doesn't work first time when trying to access my Media Player files but that is likely because of the thick walls in my old house.
I have only two "niggles" so far and the first is the quality of the speakers. This surprises me given that I am not an audiophile and others have said that they are quite good, but for me whilst acceptable the sound is not as good that from a similar sized Pure DAB radio I own. Plugged into my HiFi, however, the sound is wonderful. My second and minor negative is that it would be nice if Podcasts could be bookmarked in some way rather than having to restart at the beginning.
But despite these two points I am very glad I chose this radio and I consider it extremely good value.

This radio is great. There are many reviews describing the features, the high quality DAB reception and the ease of connecting to your Wi-Fi. There is only one useful comment I can add: You can save £20 by buying it from Marks & Spencer. It's an M & S badged version in black but is exactly the same radio. They call it a Combination-DAB-Digital-Radio. Sorry I can't include a link within a review.
