This unit has clearly out-performed one other that I tried (Philips AJB4500/05) This had to be returned because it constantly needed resetting. It does what it says on the tin; is dead simple to set up and is brill! The week-end alarm auto-off is particularly useful.

Absolutely no problems. Works straight out of the box. Very acceptable tone, and surprising volume for small size and footprint. Wish everything else worked as well as this.

We like this radio. Our previous radio alarm is 27 years old and still working (recycled to childs room), so this one had a lot to live up to. It's easy to set up and the reception is very clear. We have no problem with the brightness of the display and think it is spot on.

This clock radio replaced my last one which only had FM but was always accurate to the second as it took its signal from the MSF signal. Thus setting it to come on at 8am each day on Radio Four meant that at exactly 8am the news would start. This radio does not appear to be capable of decoding seconds so that when it is first set it will set the time but the minute could be anywhere between 0-59 seconds and will change eaxctly a minute after it is set thus the radio can be up to 59 seconds out which you may care about..... or not as the case may be. Phoned the help line and the engineer told me that this radio gets its signal from the DAB information so it will not be accurate to the second. How come then that my other DAB radio, an Intempo, does keep time to the second? No idea he said as all DAB radios use the same chip! Finally he said that the radio is not fit for my purpose and I should return it for a refund! Hmmm! Incidentally my radio does not light up the room in the middle of the night at 1am or 2am (haven't checked 3am or 4am but I don't think it does) as it checks the DAB time signal as others have reported.....
I have not returned it as I have found a bit of a work around to the fault (or you could set it for 7.59am I hear you say..) but it is too wordy to put on here.

I have no problems with reception, DAB or FM, from the corded aerial.
The sound, and build quality is good.
I have two complaints;
1) It takes 5 button presses to set the sleep timer. My previous experience of clock radios (Sonys) were much simpler.
2) Although there is a dimmer to adjust the brightness of the display, about 2 AM the display lights up full strength, when it recieve a time signal update.
But on the whole, this is a very nice clock radio.
