Bought this for the kitchen because a) the FM reception in there is really bad and b) it can get really messy when other half is cooking. Works great on both counts; excellent reception and a wipe clean surface! Took me a while to get used to the 'tone' of it - the only adjustment of sound quality available is volume and it seemed a bit harsh at first (compared to the warmer tone of my old transistor radio) but I can live with that.

Wife wanted a DAB radio for the kitchen and this fitted the bill perfectly. The touch system is brilliant and it comes with its own cleaning cloth! You don't have to press hard or anything, just a touch is sufficient to turn it on/off or change channels/volume/menu. Sound quality is fine. Can run on batteries or mains (we have ours plugged in). Nice slim design and very light in weight. Highly recommended.

Bought this radio for my husband so he can hear his favourite digital stations anywhere in the house. He's really pleased with it, the sound quality is great and the tuning simple.
The only criticism is the portability - as due to the touch controls its easy to lose settings when moving it around. Don't think it'll be moving that often though!
