If you want a bedside radio that is perfect for insomnia and doesn't irritate the neighbours, choose this product. Looks good and its designers had the wit to put the controls on the top, rather on the front, of the gadget.

I got this on the basis that it was not too wide and that having previously bought another Roberts digital radio I knew I would not be disappointed.
Set up was a breeze, the reception is perfect and the added bonus which I was not aware of is that the screen also acts as a sort of night light. It provides enough illumination to sneak out of the bedroom without turning a main light on yet not bright enough to be noticeable, in fact it is rather subtle. The back light is also adjustable and the minimum setting suits me fine.
