seemed like a really nice tv/dvd player at first - looks smart, nicer clear picture, no worries. After about 3 months however an intermittant fault started with the sound, it would just go silent for 10 - 15 mins and then come back. Within a week it had lost all sound - I phoned Toshiba helpline who declared it was a known fault with this model and told me to contact the retailer to arrange a replacement. Amazon were happy to give a full refund but as I was wary of buying exactly the same model again I bought a replacement elsewhere. I see Toshiba have vanished from the shelves of big retail stores such as John Lewis and Currys so perhaps they do have a fault in the system at present.
