I bought this for my wife as she wanted a pink DAB radio and there aren't many on the market. She has it in the kitchen, uses it every morning and is delighted with it. We always have a great signal (stay in glasgow) and it is very easy to use. My wife managed to work it out in 5 mins without the instruction manual which is really unusual - so it is pretty easy to operate.
We haven't tried to plug the ipod into it yet as we have a docking station, but it is pretty straight forward (you need to but the cable separately but they are pretty cheap) It has great sound quality and I would reccomend it to all.

An excellent DAB radio with easy scanning, clear instructions, good tone and ideal as a semi-portable (between the kitchen and study). Only downside is the heavy battery use if not on mains connect, and expensive rechargeable pack option.

I've always enjoyed listening to Radio 4 but I also wanted to be able to listen to Planet Rock. I purchased my first DAB radio, a shiny white, sleekly designed 'Pure One', 12 months ago, and haven't looked back. At the time this was the most reasonably priced portable DAB radio on the market and it also had excellent reviews. Unlike a couple of other reviews since, I have not experienced any problems with signal power. Living in the sticks, I had wondered if this might be an issue, but no probs. In fact, have been so pleased with the reception, performance, looks etc that I have since purchased a pink Pure One-Classic for work. The black and the white versions were more expensive so 'pink it was'! Gone was the shiny plastic case - my new'Pure One-Classic was a rubbery version. Pink and rubbery hmmm! A bit of a shock initially but I got over it and have now grown to like my pink, rubbery radio. Other than that it is similar in style and the upgrade includes ReVu, USB upgradeability, adjustable bass and treble, timer, plus a socket for playing an MP3 etc. The Pure One-Classic is easy to use, has good sound quality and plenty of volume.
Pure also have an on-going commitment to be more environmentally friendly and that can't be bad. Definitely recommend.

I have to admit I haven't got to grips with the instruction manual yet, but I wouldn't say that the sound quality is better than my old radio. It sounds a bit like my mum's old LW radio with that slight boom you get. I find it quite hard to hear from a distance because of the lack of treble compared with non digital. Pretty, though.

Lovely girly pink radio but was disappointed with its signal power as it seems to loose the signal now and then and doesnt seem to have the power output i was hoping for, but if looks are what your looking for then its a winner but us girls like a bit of power too.
