I had ordered the Tele conversion lens from another e-trader. After waiting for 3 weeks (I was told it would take 1 week to deliver) and having no confirmation that they would be able to deliver soon, I ordered the same item from Amazon and received it within two days. I am really impressed.
As for the lens, it is useful for anyone, who likes to make photos with a difference without being a professional. It makes the camera a bit front heavy, but it is a small price to pay.

I brought one of these lens about a year ago straight from sony. its a brilliant len i use it for taking pictures at the btcc (british touring car championship). It takes great images with no faults or distortions. one thing i would say is to use a tripod or something, because its pretty hard to hold it still at full zoom. I suggest you buy it from amazon as its much cheaper than high street. :)

I bought this for my Canon S5 after reading reviews on the Canon users forum, and I am not disappointed. It fits on the typical 58mm adaptor tube you get for the filters and 'cheaper' lenses. The build quality & the image quality are first class. Avoid the cheaper lenses from the auction websites, as the magnification is too great for the internal optics, and go for this! It feels heavy, but solid. Very happy!

I have owned one of these for a month now and it is amazing. Its construction (made in Japan) is sturdy and wonderful to behold. It is quite big (as one would expect), fitting in the fist, and makes the camera nose heavy but it does exactly what it says on the box: magnifies the image by a factor of 1.7, making it possible to get even closer to your objects of photography.
I have not noticed any problems with colour or any other distortions, and I've been quite careful to compare images with and without the lens.
The box comes with caps for both ends of the lens and a lovely pouch. You need your lens convertor (comes with the Cybershot) as this attaches the lens to the camera.
I use this lens with my CyberShot DSC-H10. The box says it works with the H5, H3, H2 and H1 as well. Check the Sony website for further compatability.
