I bought this lamp to start up with in my private beauty business. It does excellent magnifying job, gives very bright LED light (perfect to use in shaded rooms) and it's really easy to operate. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with similar interests. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the table clamp doesn't have any blocking mechanism to hold the lamp securely while fitted in the clamp.

Its well made, the LED lights are plenty bright enough and give almost daylight illumination, the clamp holds it really steady, the optics are good and it gives a really clear image. The balance in the angle-poise works well and the small high magnification areaa is really useful. Its the first time I have bought one. Hello, I purchased this lenses for my D5000 Nikon camera. I'm quite happy with them although the image quality looks exactly the same to me as the Nikkor 18-55 lens kit.This one is, of course, a more powerfull lens, a good superzoom, which means I can carry them in my travels without having to change lenses all the time.

It looks well built, it's plastic made and a bit heavy but that's ok to me since it's the first lens I buy for my first DSLR camera, I'm still learning but I wanted a good quality lenses. When you move the ring it moves softly and firm.

Prior to this one I owned a Tamron 18-200 with no VR which I didn't like much because the image quality wasn't as good as the kit the camera came with. This ones are far better than the Tamron (and far more expensive too).

Some people say this lens creep, mine doesn't, when I point the camera down with the lock in the Off position, nothing happens, lens not moving a bit. Maybe when they get old they will creep, but not now. Hopefully they won't never creep.

So at the moment I'm very happy with them but I still think they are a bit overpriced, that's why the 4 stars over 5.

I have had this lens for about 4 months now, on the front of a D40 and more recently a D90 and have got to say its amazing. great, sharp, image quality, excellent build quality and the VR works really well. To be honest, if you are on the road or out and about shooting its really all you need. The only time I can think that you would want something else would be for serious macro work, ultrazoom or perhaps indoor portraits. This lens is pricey, that's for sure, but it is worth every penny!

I bought one of these radios for the missus, because she liked the retro style. As she unwrapped it my 3 yr old said 'oh look, it's a handbag radio' which made me chuckle.



I thought as it was DAB and made by Roberts, the sound quality would be good. It isn't, it's very disappointing. The sound is mono and very dull sounding and there is no way to adjust it. Bit of a let down really

This is a great innovation from Sony putting a blue ray player in a great TV like this. I was looking at getting a new TV. It satisfied my criteria of good quality, freeview, and HD. it is also internet ready (LAN only) and wireless compatible (with the purchase of a SONY specific USB wireless device - costing about £65 right now). So dont be fooled with it stating internet ready. it is only internet ready if you can easily plug in a network cable from your local area network. The only real issue I have is that almost all of the inputs are at the rear of the screen. which makes it just about nearly impossible to plug anything in after it has been wall mounted. Even the aerial input is at the rear and not accessible once mounted. I also thought that as it had a built in blue ray player, Sony should have made the remote bluetooth like the PS3 rather than the standard RF.

Other than that, it is a great TV and I hope to enjoy for years to come.

As a mature customer, and new to DAB, I decided on the Roberts Ecologic 2 as it was cheapish and offered the options of of indoor mains use or total portability using the rechargeable batteries (6 required - quite expensive). I have to say that I have not been disappointed on either count. Reception, in the Brentwood, Essex area, is excellent and the batteries can be charged automatically by simply leaving the power cable connected when the radio is turned off.

This lens is just brilliant. The clarity of the produced images is superb.

It can sometimes be difficult when using it hand-held, but once you figure out the settings, you will be producing excellent results.

I found that setting my 450D to fully automatic often produced images with very shallow depth of field, so now I use Ap priorty and set the aperture to around F8 ro F10.

The macro capabilities are far better than I had hoped, and this lens should be a part of any photographers kit.

i am just an amateur, but i am highly delighted with the sigma. first of all i checked out the nikon 105mm as i believe you get what you pay for, but the extra cost just for vr didnt add up, also in macro vr doesnt help that much. so use a tripod or take more shots and pick the best one. anyway as for the lens its briliant with crystal clear images and deffinately worth the money

I bought this macro lens as I wanted to do some basic macro photography using a full-size sensor.. Firstly I can definitely recommend that 100mm focal length is ideal for starting at macro - 50mm is just too wide (probably more use for portraits) and 150mm is just too expensive.



This Sigma lens is solidly built and certainly doesn't feel plastic at all - it's part of the EX range which are the top tier of Sigma lenses (easy to spot by having a gold ring at the end of the lens). Focussing is sharp and as a keen amateur I certainly can't see any shortcomings in this lens in terms of quality (f2.8 is certainly wide enough for me as even at that aperture I can throw the sharpness on macro shots very easily - I actually found I was using f4 most the time as the sharpness was falling off too quickly so focus has to be spot on)



There are a few things I don't really like about this lens though. The auto-focus is quite slow (especially when compared to the USM Canon equivalent, albeit quite a bit more expensive), and the collar which is used to select auto or manual focus is quite clumsy and just doesn't feel right. That said for most pure macro work you're best off using the manual mode and once in that setting the control is pretty good.



My other complaint is that if you put a UV filter on you can't put the cap on - this is because the cap fits the inside of the front of the lens in a slightly different way to most lenses... easily rectified with either not using the UV filter (which is fine since the front of the glass is set a long way back from the front of the lens so is difficult to damage) or buying a suitable cap (prob £10).
