This has to be one of the best radios on the market, and great value for money given that the price from this vendor is well below others. It looks stylish and the sound is great for use in the kitchen. Cannot attest to how well the sound would be in a larger room. The fact that the radio comes complete with rechargeable battery system is an added bonus, saving pounds on replacement batteries. The service from the vendor was excellent, I received the radio much earlier than I had expected.

I needed to replace my old alarm clock which sat on a mains docking station on the bedside table, but would switch to battery power when I picked it up for the long stagger to the bathroom. This is the first DAB radio I've found that offers the same "convenience".
It feels solid, well designed, and tunes to new stations quickly. Reception is excellent - in places where my Pure One needs its antenna fully extended, I can actually keep the antenna retracted. So despite its chunky size, it feels truly portable.
One niggle (there's always one) is that the alarm is disabled if not plugged into the mains. I can't understand why, and it could mean a nasty surprise if you have a power cut during the night. Software update please?

Just received my radio. I chose this having read other reviews. It's fabulous and looks the part in my kitchen. It is easy to set up and pre set your favourite stations. The sound is great. A fabulous radio!

This radio has it all. Fantastic to look at and very easy to use. The fact that it charges up from the mains is a great feature as you can move it around the house easily. It may be quite pricey but its worth every penny and you will not be disappointed.

I bought this for my husband's birthday after spending a long time reviewing various products and I have to say we are both delighted with it. The radio acts as our alarm clock so is kept by the bed and plugged in but if you want to take it anywhere then simply unplug and carry. This is particularly useful to take the radio into the bathroom in the mornings or even into the garden at weekends and not be worrying about batteries or having an outside socket handy. The only extra I would like is an ipod dock and then i would have given the product 5 stars. Great quality feel and lovely retro design are a bonus to the fantastic sound quality and ability to store your favourite stations on preset buttons.
