Great product, really good sound, looks good and easy to set up. Sounds as good as my Bose wave player but a lot cheaper. Yet to remove/swap the extending aerial to the external roof one as getting pretty good reception on the in built but suspect that even more channels once it is swapped.Highly recommended

Along with most other comments, I can confirm that this unit has a great sound seen it's size - certainly not a replacement of a home cinema equipment but great to be used in the garden, kitchen etc.
I would have given more points than 3 but there is some significant limitations also from my perspective:
- Adaptors are delivered for most of the IPod-Models but none for the I-Phone
- I tried to assign a fixed IP-Address manually but the device deletes the DNS entry - as such, manual IP-addresses do not seem to work (on firmware 1.6#.
- I can not steer the device with my I-Phone. This is actually hurting me most. I can stream any content to any UPnp rendered #and I have a number of them# but not to this box. This is a state of the art feature that could be easily added.
- I could not find any possibility to save the settings of the box #such as presets etc). The box has deleted most of the settings during the firmware upgrade I have made. I would have loved to restore my settings.
Unfortunateley, I have not found any device delivering great sound and a reasonable network integration and features as listed above - otherwise I would have sent back the unit. I hope that Pure is taking this approach serious and improves the Software of the device to make this really great.

Had this now for 2 days.Very pleased. Also pleased with the Amazon service.Haven't played my ipod so much.Overall I would highly recommend it.

Although we already had a Bose iPod docking station, we couldn't stretch to the cost of their DAB radio system (which doesn't have an iPod dock - DAB & iPod dock use the same jack socket), so we had to look for alternatives.
The previous Amazon reviews of the Roberts MP43 system plus the good things said by close friends about their Roberts internet radio swung us in favour of this system. We are delighted by the purchase (& of course the usual Amazon efficiency)with the depth of sound at the higher volumes excellent for such a small unit albeit not quite top quality. I especially like the touch screen controls & the auto tuning of the DAB was so easy. Well done again, Roberts

Just received the Roberts mp43 yesterday. First things first - it is beautifully made and just looks perfect in its new perch in the kitchen. Definite expensive look to it.
Set up couldn't have been easier so I was very quickly getting a first taste of the DAB & CD functions. In N Ireland there is a decent range of DAB stations but numerically limited, nevertheless it is excellent to hear the usual stations and a few extra in clarity & without a hint of interference.
There are a range of sound modes plus adjustable treble and base. The clarity is maintained even when giving it much more volume than I normally would use. Played some very loud Bruce Springsteen and it sounds wonderful.
Today I bought an audio cable so my wife can listen to her Walkman through the Aux function and she spent the evening in the kitchen whilst I watched football! She is absolutely delighted to have all her favourite music in the kitchen without having a pile of cds to sift through.
I haven't had a chance to try my iPod with it yet but I will be amazed if it is any less good than the other functions.
The best recommendation I can give is that tonight I have ordered a Roberts Sound 80 for the bedroom - no iPod connection but can use a audio cable to compliment the DAB radio alarm.
Well worth the 5 stars
