Radio looked great, programming was easy and the dual alarm feature is innovative. However, the build quality is very disappointing. Every few days the radio 'hums,' not very loudly but enough to keep me awake! There is something about the case and the assembly that causes a vibration which tightening the screws will not solve but 'flexing' the whole unit quetens it down, perservering with this technique eventually stops the noise!

This clock radio is pretty hopeless, really. I feel obliged to carry on using it because a friend bought it for me. It doesn't matter what level I adjust the read-out I just can't read the time on it. If I need to set the alarm I have to turn the radio on. If in the middle of the night I wish to recheck the time I set the alarm I have to go through many button presses as there is only one read out of the time, and, of course, whilst I do this the radio has to be switched on. Once the alarm 'goes off' in the morning one has to make sure one is there because the radio or buzzer will continue to 'play' until you come back home in the evening. Once the alarm does 'go off' the clock radio displays the radio station it is tuned to; so it's a good idea to have another clock sitting next to it (preferably one that can be seen clearly in the dark).

I bought this Roberts Clock Radio as it has DAB radio which will be required in the next few years when VHF is switched off.It is Radio Controlled. No more fiddling when the clock changes
to and from Summer Time.Excellent.

I really like the quality and the sound is very good.
The features are easy to use and set up.

Setting up is a child's play and all other features are easy to use. It has a handy two alarms configuration and a reasonable sound quality.
The only niggle - the screen glow is too intense even in its lower setting although the screen display can be turned off altogether! The solution - a suitably bespoke piece of cardboard paper to cover the display at night!
