Good product but for some reason it jumps a half-hour when it's switched-on to radio mode. When it's in stand-by it holds the time no problem.
Other than that it's recomendable.

It's an alarm clock DAB radio - and it does exactly what it says on the (planet-friendly cardboard) box. Yes - the display can seem a bit dim if, like me, you were used to an old LED display clock that could be read from the other side of the bedroom without your specs - but it is bright enough for a bedside table (providing you remember to remove the protective film from the screen of course).
Audio quality is really excellent. Changing stations is not a thing to do in semi-darkness though when you can't see which of the many buttons is which. But if you generally stick to the same station anyway that is not a problem.
Alarm setting is relatively easy if you read the manual - but don't forget to set the volume when you set it to wake you with a radio station, or you will be leaping out of bed the first time it goes off as it blasts out at the default high power setting.
All in all a great piece of kit - AND you can be woken by Test Match Special on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra as the lads play on some far-flung foreign shore. Who could want more?

This radio alarm clock is really good value for money. For the first time of operation you need to follow the instructions but after that it becomes intuitive. In any case, how often do you need to reset alarms? The 'once only' alarm setting is really useful when you want an early start occasionally at a different time from your regular time. The sound quality is excellent for an instrument of this price and the screen has all the information you could want - time, radio station, song/performer, etc.
The only downside (the reason for 4 and not 5 stars) is that the display is too dim for the time to be easily read at night and if the bedside table is slightly lower than the bed, as ours is, the top row of the display (time) is unreadable.

This is a great clock/radio at a very reasonable mid-range price. It is good size - on the smaller rather than larger side so perfect for a bedside table. The screen is good as it has a automatic variable brigthness, which means the display is readable at any time day or night. The ability to set the volume of the alarm is also helpful.

I recently purchased the PURE siesta and have not regretted it. The sound quality is excellent and is a doddle to set up. The radio has been very well thought out and has intuitive operation, much like a mobile phone menu within menu setup. Its not too big so takes up little room on a bedside cabinet. The three alarms are very useful so you can set them for monday to friday or weekends etc. This is great when you or your partner are getting up at different times. The first person just cancels their alarm and the next one wakes up their partner without having to fiddle around resetting. The screen is clear and readable and low glow at night.
All in all top banana all round.
