Bought this because I don't have a head unit in my car (have a Carputer) so no normal FM radio.
Hooked it up to the line in on the PC (rather than the FM transmitter mode) and it works a tread. Didn't bother with the supplied antenna for the car as I heard bad reviews but got an external mag mount one from DabOnWheels. Reception is excellent and only have drop-out where I would get bad FM.
Very pleased with it as now I can listen to whatever I want depending on my mood/journey.
Not used it as a 'personal' radio yet so cannot comment on that feature.
Not given 5 stars because I had to buy a separate antenna for proper reception which I think should be included with the unit. I think that this is where the product is let down and Pure should address it as it gives an initially poor impression of a great product.

I have been a fan of DAB and of Pure for a long time -I have two of their DAB alarm clock radios and have been very pleased.
The build is good and it works OK in a built-up area, but if you are driving cross-country the signal drop-out rate is considerable using the standard antenna. Driving through Shropshire & Worcestershire the other day, it was cutting in and out all the time and I couldn't get a signal for more than 50% of the time: I ended up turning the whole thing off and feeling robbed!
The other disadvantage for longer-distance travellers is that unlike FM, it doesn't appear to re-tune when you move to another signal area: maybe that's due to the signal problems.
I guess having spent out for the unit I will have to spend a further £20 to get the external aerial - shame it didn't come as part of the original kit if that's what in needs to work properly!

Fitting this is easy and I've found the provided aerial sufficient. I travel between hampshire and surrey and it's rarely dropped below full bar.
The FM transmitter options are nice. You're able to set up four presets to broadcast FM, set those same frequencies on to your regular radio and you're ready to go. Though if you can I'd recommend using a line out lead instead of the FM transmission.
The magnetic holder feels sturdy and the radio feels securely attached.
The buttons do their job well and the dial works well as a frequency changer and to select the DAB stations.
Some have reported a clash in using this as well as a sat nav. I didn't find a problem when using this in FM transmitter mode with the sat nav on at the same time. Presumably this is down to the sat nav model.
All in all, very impressed. And there are cheaper places to get this then here so google a bit.

Bought this for my husband as a birthday present, he loves it, he can get his favourite radio station which is not available on normal bands, the only problem is that there are drop-outs, this is not a fault of the equipment but the area where the signal does not reach, this will obviously be a problem with moving equipment, but in general the sound is very good also easy to use and set up (if my husband can do it then it must be easy) - for the money it is good value.
