Really love this and for me, was an excellent choice. It's very user friendly, quite easy to set up, though it took a bit of time but that could have been down to my impatience. Once set up with your favourite channels, your just one button away from changing stations - brilliant, beats my old radio where I still had to turn a dial and wait for someone to mention the name of the channel I had tuned into.
I like the feature on the display that tells you what track is being played and who it is. It probably gives me much more info but I've not checked that out yet.
I am looking forward to taking it away in our motor home and seeing what it may or may not pick up in France.
I like the colour too, it's quite neutral and fits in well with the decor in my kitchen - a great buy.

Pure give a five year warranty on their radios, and I discovered the reason for this when my Evoke 1 DAB expired (its chip failed) in its sixth year. It had been used regulary, but not moved around or stressed in other ways. Anyone considering these radios should be aware that they may have a very limited life compared to older (and much cheaper) analogue radios. Pure offer a repair service, but the cost of this + postage is considerably more than the cost of buying a new Sony DAB. Only time will tell if my new Sony has a longer life.

I received this DAB radio as a Christmas present and I am really pleased with it. It's well made, fairly compact with a sleek and pleasing 'retro' look. The instruction manual has clear instructions and made for an easy, first-set up. It is easy to use and has an energy-saving, standby function, which displays the time when not in use (very useful). The radio automatically tunes into the available DAB stations and up to 30 radio stations can be stored in its pre-set buttons. The sound of the radio is really clear and has a good balance of treble & bass tones.
I am really delighted with this radio as I now have more radio stations to choose from, all of which are perfectly tuned - no more horrible crackling, bad reception & white noise!!!

I've had a couple of Pure DAB products now. One lasted 3 years and one lasted 5. I don't know if I'm expecting too much. Both failed in similar ways. They have power, stuff happens, but no display and no radio. I shall not buy PURE again but maybe I've got high expectations.

Easy to use, nice to look at, and good sound quality. Recommended
