This is a very good radio. I have a Pure One Mini and like it so much I wanted its big brother. I did have to return 2 of them before I got one that works but suspect they were refurbished units so bought the third one from a well know high street shop and it's great. I will say that BBC stations were not working even sited in the same position as my One Mini but I discovered that by not extending the larger aerial fully, so it is the same length as the smaller radio, Radio 1 to 7 all work perfectly now. Hope this helps others with the suspected poor sensitivity in other reviews.

I spent a little while trawling through the dozens of options for a small, reliable radio for our office, before finally choosing this one - in white (cos it looked cooler than the plain black). It arrived the following day (great service Amazon!)and within seconds of getting it out of the box, we were listening to Five Live, crisp & crystal clear. Very impressive. Its incredibly easy to use, the quality and tone of the broadcast is excellent and switching between the stations is a cinch. Absolutly delighted with this radio - and love its classy cool whitness, too!

I find this radio attractive in appearance and ideal in my bathroom.The only minor criticism would be that the volume control should have a more progressive adjustment,otherwise very pleased.

Great little DAB radio,perfect for small rooms, wish the rechargable battery pack was cheaper but I suppose time will tell if I keep an eye on the battery performance.

Unfortunately I had to rate it otherwise it would have had no stars. It didn't work properly and I am so disappointed. I have an old DAB radio (an inexpensive set) which is great but wanted to update it for a nicer looking model. The Pure Classic looks good but unfortunately the reception was extremely poor. As I'd placed the new Pure set in exactly the same spot as my current radio I couldn't figure out why the reception was so poor. I live in Devon and my current DAB radio picks up all digital stations clearly including Gold. The Pure radio chirped and bubbled and would pick up only 2 stations, Radio 2 and BBC7 - the other DAB stations were 'not available'. Also I could only get a reception in my kitchen and then if we moved past the set the signal would be momentarily lost. I returned one set thinking it was faulty but the replacement still would not pick up all digital stations and the one it did pick up had interference. Again the set only worked in the kitchen. I read the FAQ on the Pure website, which suggests extending the arial and moving the set around (which I had been doing) but as my very old set works why doesn't the Pure set? I then emailed Pure and I'm still awaiting their response - their website states they reply within 48 hours and this was 5 days ago. Amazon dealt with my return and replacement brilliantly. I'm sending this one back too.
