Having previously owned an Tesco own brand DAB radio (which received a DAB signal)I decided to buy a PURE ELITE DAB radio after reading all the good reviews. However I cannot receive a DAB station on my new PURE radio!

We bought this to replace an older DAB receiver for the kitchen. The PURE ONE Elite does a reasonable job of providing stereo listening from a small black box. Tuning is accurate and stable. There's plenty of volume to get above kitchen noise, and the sound is clear.
It also has a nice matt black surface which wipes clean easily - good for the kitchen.
All in all, a good buy for us

I'm more than happy with this radio, no problems with locking onto stations (London, so there's plenty about), and really nice sound quality blasting out in the kitchen. I think it's useful having the audio-in as well... though I've yet to actually try it. Doubt I'll bother buying the battery pack, but though it seems expensive, it actually compares well if you look at how expensive it'd be to buy a set of standard batteries for it, so I'd rather have the cheaper up-front purchase price, and the choice of buying the battery pack separately.

I got this as a present for my birthday. Thought the sound quality was excellent and got a nice black rubber finish to it.
However, found it very frustating to use next to the bed. The 1st setting on the volume control is too loud and not any good for leaving on while you are trying to get to sleep. You can't make it any quieter without switching the volume off completely.
Also, having to use both hands to press some of the buttons is a bit of a pain, otherwise the whole thing topples over!

Purchased this radio for the kitchen, very easy to set-up and simple controls. All in all very pleased with product, good build quality, excellent reception. I can now disappear and listen to the sport in DAB, great!
