Easy to programme, easy to use, good sound quality and acceptable (but not heart-stoppingly pleasing) design. We use just the five preset digital stations, but it has many more functions available including 5 preset FM stations and a choice of display information. With our previous (cheap) DAB set we had alot of 'wobble' in the signal, but this radio has very solid reception. Have not tried its battery capacity.

I wanted a simple to operate digital radio with excellent reception and this one fills the bill exactly. The complaints which others have made about it being slow to tune in etc. I don't find a problem. I am hoping that it will last longer than my previous Intempo radio which had loads of bells and whistles but packed up after a few years. This radio may not be so versatile but I cannot fault the quality of its output. Can't comment on battery life as I haven't used it on batteries (yet). Highly recommended.

The radio never arrived due to Hughes not deliverying it. They claimed that no one was at my house to accept deliver the radio. They also have taken money from my account for the non-delivery.
I am totally disgusted in this disgraceful service and will be contacting my local trading standards to pursue this matter further.
