 "Best DAB out there!" 2010-05-21

This is the best DAB radio I have ever bought and I've had a few. This is the only one I've had that has no loss of signal when on the move. I use this in my pocket with the earphones whilst cycling and it's superb even in thickly wooded forest areas. The little pull out antenna and the speaker on the front makes this a radio you can use anywhere at home - kitchen, bathroom, under the quilt, in the garage etc and the sound is surprisingly good from the speaker with a good volume level. Lightweight, well made and the battery has been lasting up to 18 hours on a full charge! Buy this radio you will not be disappointed.

 "First Class choice" 2010-05-01

Nifty little personal digital radio. Good sound quality and ease of use. Reasonably light so it's not too cumbersome when using it on the move. TMS this summer will be listened to at my desk, on the train and anywhere else you can think of!!

"excellent dab reception but a peculiar problem" 2010-04-19

I can't praise enough or write anything different than the others have except an annoying problem I noticed

If you are using high quality in-ear headphones with this such as sennheiser ie8,you may hear a ticking noise like a clock. This actually happens because of the scrolling display on the radio.

If you change the display to make it non-scrolling, then this sound stops!

If you are using over the ear headphones you may not notice This at all.

Unfortunately you can't change the default scrolling text settings so you have to change it every time you change a station!

Apart from this nothing to complain about this cute little radio!

 "Great little radio" 2010-04-19

I'm very pleased with this radio. I had a Roberts Gemini which I damaged and couldn't get to work again, but although this is about 1/4 of the size the sound is better. You can use it on the move with the headphones acting as the aerial or stood on a shelf. The volume is good without distorting. Negatives are that it doesn't come with any sort of case and the aerial is very thin so you need to be very careful to avoid bending it.

 "Very satisfied ..." 2010-04-14

...with this little radio. Tried it out on a fairly long coach journey yesterday and was impressed by the volume available and the sound clarity. I did use my own Sennheiser CX300 II earphones though , which I'm sure adds to the listening pleasure. I've also tried just using the speaker, whilst not perfect,is acceptable for a radio this size. My only concern is the apparent fragility of the cover for the charger pin. Not easy to open and similar to the that on Cannon cameras, only smaller and more delicate. I've been looking for a flip case , like they have for ipods ,to give it that extra protection but haven't managed to find one yet.

Overall though ,I'm pleased to have plumbed for the Roberts Sports.
